Plumber – Cape Town Full Time

RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber to join our client’s team based in Blackheath, Cape Town. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated plumbing professional to work within a fast-paced construction and maintenance environment. Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections and maintenance on plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.
• Diagnose problems and determine appropriate solutions quickly and efficiently.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant plumbing codes and safety standards.
• Prepare and maintain accurate reports on completed work and required materials.
• Collaborate with construction and maintenance teams on project planning and execution.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times.

Requirements

• Relevant plumbing qualifications (Trade Certificate or equivalent).
• Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and methodologies.
• Good knowledge of health and safety standards and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to convey technical information clearly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with collaboration tools is an advantage.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and strong attention to detail.
