Professional Quantity Surveyor – QS Consulting Industry Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client, a leading and reputable quantity surveying and cost consulting firm in Gauteng is currently seeking a senior-level Professionally Registered Quantity Surveyor to join their experienced team.

The ideal candidate will bring technical excellence, leadership capabilities, and strong sectoral knowledge in commercial, residential, retail, office, leisure, and housing developments.

Requirements:

• BSc (Hons)/BTech Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognised institution
• Registration as a Professional Quantity Surveyor with SACQSP compulsory
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying consulting environment
• Proven experience across a range of sectors including commercial, residential, office, leisure, retail, and housing developments
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost management methodologies, and industry benchmarks
• Proficiency in Quantity Surveying software tools such as WinQS, Dimension X, or CostX, and MS Excel
• Excellent understanding of South African construction law, procurement procedures, and regulatory frameworks
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to delivering work of the highest standard
• Valid driver’s license and own transport
