CNC Machinist – Metal Manufacturing Full Time

RPO Recruitment is on the lookout for a skilled CNC Machinist specializing in metal manufacturing to join our esteemed client’s team. This role will primarily involve operating advanced CNC machines to fabricate high-quality metal components and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines for precision metal machining tasks.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints for accurate machining.
• Conduct regular maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as necessary to ensure quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve machining processes and techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety standards.
• Document production progress and updates using relevant software applications.

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a focus on metal machining (minimum 3 years).
• Strong understanding of CNC programming (G-code proficiency is essential).
• Experience with Fanuc or similar controls.
• Technical qualifications (e.g., N3 diploma or equivalent).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of different types of metals and their properties.
• Proficient in using measuring instruments (Vernier calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork ability.
