RPO Recruitment is actively seeking a skilled Outbound Shipping Manager to join our client’s team in Cape Town (Ottery). This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to oversee and optimize shipping operations in a fast-paced logistics environment. Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate outbound shipping operations to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Oversee the packing, labeling, and dispatching of shipments to meet customer requirements.
• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company policies.
• Track and monitor shipments to resolve any delays or issues promptly.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff, transport providers, and customer service teams.
• Implement strategies to improve shipping efficiency and reduce costs.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and inventory.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations of the shipping team and provide necessary training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (a tertiary qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is a plus).
• Proven experience in outbound shipping or logistics management.
• Strong knowledge of shipping regulations and documentation.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Proficient in using shipping and inventory management software.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
