RPO Recruitment has a client that is looking for a Millwright to join their team of professionals in Paterson.
Responsibilities:
• Assist Production teams to increase efficiency and Quality of product as per ISO 9001
• Actively improve occupational health safety and environment as per ISO 45001
• Inspection and repair of all electrical and mechanical equipment as per preventative maintenance program
• Maintain plant equipment and machinery according to OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications in order achieve target plant uptime
• Dismantle, move, assemble, install & align equipment and machinery
• Test units to evaluate electrical & mechanical operation
• Set programmable logical circuits (PLC’s)
• Testing, calibration and documentation of instruments such as flowmeters and scales
• Faultfinding and correction of process control equipment
• Training and mentoring of apprentices and assistants
• General admin duties (i.e: Job card closure, inspection registers)
Requirements:
• Qualified Millwright (having undergone apprenticeship)
• Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience
• Experience in Feed/Milling Operation would be advantageous
• Good electrical fault finding and installation skills
• Need to work shifts, standby, call-outs and overtime
• Strong leadership skills
• Computer literate
• Valid driver’s license
• Own transport
