Lab Manager – Plastics Full Time

RPO Recruitment is excited to announce an opportunity for an experienced Lab Manager specializing in the Plastics industry. Our client, a leader in the manufacturing and testing of plastic materials, is in search of a dedicated Lab Manager who will oversee lab operations, ensure compliance with quality standards, and drive innovation within the lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day laboratory operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
• Supervise laboratory staff, providing training and development to enhance team performance and technical skills.
• Develop and implement testing procedures and protocols for various plastic materials, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results.
• Monitor lab equipment maintenance, calibration, and compliance with industry regulations.
• Collaborate with R&D and production teams to support product development, quality control, and troubleshooting activities.
• Analyze testing data and prepare detailed reports, ensuring communication of results to relevant stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in plastic materials testing and analysis.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Plastics Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a laboratory environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of plastics testing methods and laboratory equipment.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Proficiency in lab management software and MS Office.
