RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Millwright to join our client’s operations in Germiston. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on individual with a strong technical background in both electrical and mechanical systems. Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and breakdown repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues on production and packaging machinery
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency
• Install, test, and commission new equipment and machinery
• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities
• Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment

Requirements

• Trade Test Certificate: Millwright
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ post-trade experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
