Job Description:

RPO Recruitment’s client are seeking a skilled and experienced Millwright to join their team in Verulam at a food manufacturing facility. The Millwright will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency in the production process.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot machinery and equipment in a food manufacturing facility
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns
• Analyze malfunctions and perform repairs as necessary
• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure smooth production processes
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
• Provide training and support to other team members as needed

Requirements:

• Trade certification as a Millwright
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Millwright in a food manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
