Product Developer Full Time

RPO Recruitment is actively seeking a skilled and innovative Product Developer to join our client’s team in Paarl. Responsibilities:

• Develop new product concepts, recipes, and formulations that align with client briefs and market trends.
• Improve and optimize existing product offerings to enhance quality, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct research on market trends, ingredients, and competitor products to drive innovation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production, and quality control, to ensure product feasibility and alignment with company objectives.
• Manage product trials and oversee production processes to ensure consistency and compliance with standards.
• Document all product development activities, including specifications, formulations, and processes.
• Ensure adherence to food safety and regulatory standards throughout the product development cycle.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in product development within the food industry, preferably in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of food ingredients, processing techniques, and flavor profiles.
• Creativity and innovation in developing new and unique products.
• Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.
