RPO Recruitment’s client is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join their team in Cape Town, Western Cape. The ideal candidate will oversee and facilitate supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient distribution of goods while managing key logistics and stakeholder relationships.
Responsibilities:
Process and invoice sales orders, ensuring compliance with credit terms and accurate pricing.
Oversee order fulfillment, including documentation, proof of delivery management, and dispute resolution.
Coordinate local and international shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective transport.
Manage logistics partners, maintaining strong relationships with transporters and third-party vendors.
Ensure accurate inventory tracking, stock availability, and smooth inter-warehouse transfers.
Utilize logistics IT systems to optimize shipping, track data, and generate reports.
Prepare and analyze operational reports, including transport costs, order fulfillment, and lost sales.
Support supply chain processes with flexibility, problem-solving, and proactive coordination.
Requirements:
Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management or a related field
Proven experience in logistics coordination
Experience in logistics management is preferred
Ability to work independently and manage multiple processes
Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
