RPO Recruitment’s client is looking for a Junior Buyer to join their team in Midrand, Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining stock levels, managing master data and pricing, processing purchase orders, and coordinating with suppliers to support business needs.
Responsibilities:
Process daily purchase orders and manage related procurement systems
Track orders and delivery timelines, and communicate any delays
Monitor purchase orders against forecasts and stock requirements
Resolve invoice discrepancies and supplier quality issues
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments
Manage and complete buy-outs within agreed service levels
Maintain and update master data, pricing, and product details on the ERP system
Ensure accurate product listings, pricing, and images on the company website
Requirements:
Matric certificate
Diploma or degree in Procurement or Supply Chain Management (advantageous)
Minimum 2 years’ procurement experience
Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems
Valid Code EC driver’s license and own transport
