Instrumentation Tech – FMCG – KZN Full Time

RPO Recruitment is actively seeking a skilled Instrumentation Technician to join our client’s team in Howick. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to take on the responsibility of installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting instrumentation and control systems in an industrial environment. Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections, calibration, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults in electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems.
• Install and configure new instrumentation and process control equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards in all maintenance and repair activities.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimize plant performance.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repair work.

Requirements:

• Diploma or certification in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Instrumentation Technician in an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming, SCADA systems, and process control instrumentation.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of instrumentation equipment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to safety regulations and best practices in the workplace.
