Instrument Technician Full Time

A fast-growing international food and beverage manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Instrument Technician with strong exposure to industrial instrumentation, control systems, and automation to ensure optimal plant performance, reliable data systems, and continuous process improvement within a high-performance manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, manage, and optimise instrumentation, SCADA systems, industrial networking, and production information systems
• Ensure systems remain operational, accurate, and aligned with manufacturing requirements
• Manage critical spares for instrumentation and electronic components
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and process optimisation initiatives
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure cost-effective instrumentation and control solutions
• Ensure availability and integrity of production data for operational use
• Apply root cause analysis to resolve system faults and improve reliability
• Present system performance reports and improvement plans to management

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechatronic or Electronic Engineering
• 5–10 years’ manufacturing experience in instrumentation and automation
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial automation
• Experience with instrumentation installation, calibration, and maintenance
• Ability to read P&ID drawings and wiring diagrams
• Knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal, VSDs, SAP, and industrial networks
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
