Boilershop Supervisor Full Time

RPO Recruitment is actively seeking a skilled Boilershop Supervisor to join our client’s team in Roodepoort. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to oversee and coordinate boilershop operations in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily boilershop operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Plan, organize, and allocate work to team members based on project requirements and deadlines.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and production standards.
• Oversee the fabrication, assembly, and maintenance of boilers and related equipment.
• Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
• Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance skills and performance.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless workflow and project execution.
• Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and staff performance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a related field are advantageous.
• Experience: 3+ years as a Production Supervisor in the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience as a Boilershop Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of boilershop processes, fabrication techniques, and safety protocols.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
