PO Recruitment is actively seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Inbound Travel Planner to join our client’s team in Cape Town. This is an exciting opportunity for a travel professional to craft unforgettable experiences for clients by planning and coordinating inbound travel itineraries. Responsibilities:
- Design and coordinate tailored travel itineraries for inbound clients, ensuring exceptional experiences.
- Communicate with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budgets.
- Book accommodations, transportation, tours, and other travel-related services.
- Maintain strong relationships with local suppliers, tour operators, and service providers.
- Provide clients with expert advice on destinations, activities, and travel regulations.
- Handle amendments, cancellations, and last-minute travel requests efficiently.
- Ensure all bookings and arrangements comply with company policies and client expectations.
- Stay updated on travel trends, industry developments, and new destinations.
Requirements:
- Diploma or certification in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Travel Planner, Consultant, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of South Africa’s tourism industry and key travel destinations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in travel booking systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- A passion for creating exceptional travel experiences.
