Homeware Buyer – Retail Full Time

RPO Recruitment is excited to announce an opportunity for a Homeware Buyer to join our client’s team in the retail sector. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing a diverse range of homeware products that resonate with our client’s customer base while ensuring quality, affordability, and compliance with market trends.

As a Homeware Buyer, you will analyze market trends, forecast customer needs, negotiate with suppliers, and maintain effective inventory levels to drive sales and customer satisfaction. Your keen eye for detail and strong negotiation skills will contribute significantly to the success of our retail operations.

Responsibilities:

• Research and analyze market trends to identify potential product opportunities in the homeware category.
• Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies for homeware products.
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align product offerings with customer preferences and promotions.
• Manage inventory levels, ensuring the timely replenishment of popular items and minimizing excess stock.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to product sales and supplier performance.
• Stay updated on industry developments and best practices in homeware retailing.

• Proven experience as a Buyer, specifically in the homeware or retail industry.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze market trends and consumer preferences.
• Proficient in procurement software and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
