General Engineering Supervisor – Mining Industry – R1.5Mil – R1.1Mil Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client in the mining industry is seeking the expertise of a General Engineering Supervisor to join their team in Kuruman, Northern Cape.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to team performance.
• Participate in change initiatives and provide feedback on resistance
• Comply with disciplinary and behavioral rules and procedures.
• Obtain information, check for accuracy and capture data. File documents per procedure.
• Know and exercise the basic principles of safety and mining.
• Comply with safety , health and environmental standards.
• Identify and report unsafe and hazardous situations in work area.
• Participate in safety meetings.
• Take care of your own safety and the safety of fellow employees.
• Comply with Quality standards and deliver in a manner that support and meet operational quality standards.
• Contribute to team performance.
• Participate in change initiatives and provide feedback on resistance.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Trade Test Certificate
• N5 Certificate in Engineering
• Advanced Management Certificate
• 8 years’ experience as an artisan / technician trade in heavy industrial, mining or plant and/or Trackless Mobile Machinery
• 5 years’ supervisory experience
