Senior Supervisor – Krugersdorp Full Time

RPO Recruitment is actively seeking an experienced Senior Supervisor to lead our client’s team in Krugersdorp. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate the equipment maintenance team to ensure timely and efficient servicing and repairs across all equipment.
• Oversee regular inspections and preventative maintenance schedules to ensure equipment is in safe, operational condition.
• Provide technical expertise in diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Review and verify all completed maintenance and repair work for quality, safety, and compliance with company standards.
• Coordinate with suppliers to order necessary parts and materials, manage inventory levels, and ensure availability of critical components.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used; generate regular performance reports for management review.
• Enforce adherence to safety protocols, ensuring a clean and organized work environment and adherence to industry safety regulations.
• Mentor and train maintenance staff, fostering a high-performing and knowledgeable team.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in equipment maintenance within a logistics, warehouse, or similar high-demand environment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to oversee complex repairs.
• Familiarity with maintenance documentation, reporting, and inventory management.
• Proven leadership skills and experience managing or supervising a technical team.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities as needed.
