Factory Manager – Johannesburg Full Time

RPO Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and results-driven Factory Manager to join our client’s dynamic manufacturing team in Industrial North, Johannesburg. Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the factory to ensure timely production and delivery of products
• Manage and coordinate production schedules, workforce planning, and equipment utilization
• Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards
• Implement process improvements to optimize productivity and reduce costs
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors and production staff
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and quality departments to ensure smooth operations
• Analyze production data and generate reports for senior management
• Ensure proper maintenance of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Factory or Plant Manager role within a manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control
• Proficient in production management software and MS Office Suite
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
