Demand Planner – Retail Full Time

RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Demand Planner to join our client’s team in the retail industry. As a Demand Planner, you will be responsible for forecasting and planning demand for our client’s retail products. You will analyze sales trends, monitor inventory levels, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and sales analysis
• Analyze inventory levels to optimize stock availability and prevent stockouts or overstocking
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align on demand plans and strategies
• Monitor and report on changes in customer demand, industry trends, and competitive landscape
• Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and efficient supply chain operations
• Utilize demand planning tools and software to support forecasting and analysis

• Proven experience as a Demand Planner or similar role in the retail industry
• Diploma, National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Retail Management, Business Management or equivalent
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in demand planning software and advanced Excel skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of retail industry trends and dynamics
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
