RPO Recruitment’s client, in the Logistics Industry, are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Custom Entry Clerk to join their team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of customs regulations and procedures, as well as experience in managing customs documentation for imported and exported goods.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit customs documentation, including import and export declarations, duty payments, and other required paperwork.
• Coordinate with customs authorities to ensure timely clearance of goods.
• Provide guidance and support to internal teams on customs compliance and regulations.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure compliance with customs regulations.
• Resolve any customs-related issues or delays that may arise.
• Maintain accurate records of customs documentation and transactions.
• Stay current on changes to customs regulations and procedures.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Custom Entry Clerk or similar role in the logistics industry.
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations and procedures.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Proficient in using customs clearance software and systems.
• Certification in customs clearance or related field is a plus.
