Consulting Sale Engineer – Johannesburg Full Time

RPO Recruitment is seeking an experienced Consulting Sales Engineer to join our client’s dynamic team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will combine technical knowledge with sales expertise to drive the growth of engineering solutions in the market. As a Consulting Sales Engineer, you will cultivate relationships with clients, identify their needs, and provide tailored engineering solutions that meet their requirements. This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about helping clients achieve their objectives.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients to understand their technical needs and provide appropriate engineering solutions.
• Develop and deliver presentations that showcase the company’s products and services.
• Assist in preparing proposals and sales contracts for engineering projects.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities to expand the client base.
• Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to ensure seamless execution of client projects.
• Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
• Provide feedback to the product development team based on client needs and market insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role.
• Strong technical knowledge of engineering solutions and services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts.
• Proven ability to meet sales targets and drive growth.
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients.
