Complex Supervisor (Building Manager) – Cape Town Full Time

RPO Recruitment is actively seeking a dedicated Complex Supervisor (Building Manager) to oversee and manage the daily operations of a residential or commercial property in Cape Town. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to ensure the smooth functioning and maintenance of the building while providing exceptional service to tenants and stakeholders. Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance staff (training, supervision, performance evaluation) 
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance work (urgent and non-urgent tasks) 
• Conduct regular property inspections (maintenance needs, health and safety compliance) 
• Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules (minimize resident disruptions) 
• Ensure regulatory compliance (regulations, processes, procedures) 
• Manage security staff (training, supervision, performance evaluation) 
• Proficient in computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, etc.) 
• Ability to write comprehensive reports (maintenance, security, and operational issues) 
• Any adhoc duties as requested by Manage

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent (essential) 
• Degree or diploma in a related field (advantageous) 
• Valid driver’s license (essential) 
• 3+ years of experience in building management or related field 
• Proven team player skills 
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance, repairs, and health and safety standards 
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills 
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, email, etc.) 
• Report writing skills
