Buyer – Food & Beverage Manufacturing Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.
• Research and evaluate potential suppliers, considering factors such as quality, cost, and delivery times.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and cost savings.
• Manage supplier relationships, including performance evaluation, issue resolution, and ongoing communication.
• Monitor and track procurement activities, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Stay updated on market trends and industry best practices in procurement.

• Proven experience as a Buyer in the Food & Beverage Manufacturing industry.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.
• Understanding of food safety regulations and quality control standards.
• Proficient in using procurement software and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail.
