Building Site Agent – Construction Industry Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-established building contractor in Cape Town is currently seeking to appoint an experienced Site Agent to join their construction team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing day-to-day site operations
• Coordinating subcontractors, labour, plant, and materials
• Monitoring construction progress and ensuring project deadlines are achieved
• Ensuring quality standards and safety compliance on site
• Liaising with clients, consultants, and professional teams
• Managing site reporting, inspections, and site administration
• Assisting with cost control and procurement coordination

Requirements:

• National Diploma in Building, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar qualification
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working as a Site Agent within the building construction industry
• Proven experience on commercial, residential, or mixed-use building projects
• Strong knowledge of site management, programming, subcontractor coordination, quality control, and health & safety
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Must currently be based in Cape Town or surrounding areas
