Building Site Agent – Construction Industry Contract NEW

RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-established contractor is seeking an experienced Site Agent to join their team for a multi-storey building project in Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily site operations and construction activities
• Manage site staff, subcontractors, and project resources
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
• Monitor health and safety compliance on site
• Coordinate with professional teams, suppliers, and clients
• Report on project progress and resolve site-related challenges efficiently

Requirements:

• BTech/BSc in Construction Management/National Diploma in Building or similar qualifications
• Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Site Agent managing building projects
• Proven experience on multi-storey building developments
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, site coordination, and programme management
• Ability to manage subcontractors, site teams, quality, safety, and project delivery
• Based in the Western Cape with strong local industry and supplier knowledge
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
