Regional Manager – Electrical Engineering Industry – R840K – R720K Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-established firm in South Africa specialising in electrical control and automation services, is currently looking to hire a qualified and experienced Regional Manager who can join their successful team in Cape Town as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

• Managing, leading, directing, controlling and organising a highly effective sales, engineering and installation teams, ensuring efficiency, profitability and quality objectives and customer satisfaction
• Take responsibility for all aspects of operations including the sales team, service team, engineering and installations teams, stock and inventory management, office administration, and all Safety & Quality related matters
• Will be required to direct the continued growth of this regional office and will need to work closely with the project managers servicing corporate clients and key projects in the region
• Will be required to work with the company’s management executive to develop the growth strategy for their Cape presence and will work to grow the turnover and profitability, of each division in this region
• Manage the costs and expenses and will provide monthly status reports to the Managing Director
• This will be in accordance with the Business Strategy and specific goals set with the Management team.

Requirements:

• BEng/BSc/BTech or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• At least 10 years of experience in the electrical industry and involvement with heavy industry and/or mining
• Management experience including personnel management, contracts management, financial management at an operational level
• A solid grounding in engineering/electrical service industries would be beneficial

Benefits:

Salary:  R720K – R840K CTC per annum, with benefits like medical aid and pension
