Building QS – Construction Industry Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client, an established and reputable building contractor based in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced and driven Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a confident, well-presented professional with a strong background in industrial and commercial building projects, and the ability to work independently while contributing to the company’s long-term growth.

This role offers excellent exposure to large-scale projects, as well as a clear pathway into senior management or directorship for the right individual.

Requirements:

• BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a reputable building contractor
• At least 5 years’ experience on industrial and commercial projects
• Strong technical and contractual knowledge (JBCC, NEC, or similar)
• Standalone, confident, and well-spoken professional with excellent presentation and communication skills
• Leadership abilities and the ambition to grow into a senior management/directorship position over time
• Own vehicle (petrol card provided)
• Willingness to travel to sites outside Gauteng as required
• Proficiency in CCS and MS Office
• Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English

Benefits:

Salary:  R600k CTC, negotiable
