Structural Technician/Technologist- Consulting Industry Full Time

Our client, a well-established consultancy in the commercial and building sector, is seeking a Structural Engineering Technician or Junior Structural Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience to join their dynamic team.

This role is ideal for a proactive, professionally-presented individual who is confident in engaging with clients, leading site meetings, and working collaboratively with project teams.

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of proven experience in structural engineering
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Robot Structural Analysis, and AutoCAD.
• Experience with Civil 3D is a strong advantage.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
• Ability to start immediately or as soon as possible.
• Based in Johannesburg or Pretoria
• Prepare and review structural drawings and models using Revit, Robot Structural Analysis, and AutoCAD.
• Conduct site inspections, attend meetings, and liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on commercial and building projects.
• Assist in the design and detailing of concrete and steel structures.
• Valid drivers license & own vehicle
