Job Title: Beverage Developer

RPO Recruitment’s client are seeking a creative and talented Beverage Developer to join their team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and beverage innovation and a track record of developing successful and unique beverage products.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new beverage concepts and recipes that meet market trends and consumer preferences
• Conduct market research to identify opportunities for new beverage products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and production to bring new beverage products to market
• Manage the product development process from concept to commercialization
• Conduct sensory evaluations and quality control tests to ensure beverage products meet specifications
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, ingredients, and technologies in the beverage sector

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field
• Proven experience in beverage product development in the food and beverage industry
• Strong understanding of flavor profiles, food chemistry, and food safety regulations
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of beverage manufacturing processes and equipment
