Warehouse Manager Full Time

RPO Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Warehouse Manager to join our client in the Food Manufacturing & Transport industry team. As such, our Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of a high-volume, fast-paced warehouse operation, ensuring efficiency and productivity in all aspects of warehouse operations. The Warehouse Manager will also be responsible for leading, training and developing a team of associates to become a driving force for success in the business.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse activities, including shipping and receiving, inventory management, and order fulfilment
• Ensure safety compliance with all OSHA and company regulations
• Develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures, and safety protocols
• Develop and manage warehouse KPIs to measure and improve performance, including productivity and accuracy metrics
• Optimize warehouse layout and organization, leveraging space and material handling equipment for maximum efficiency
• Analyze inventory levels to prevent stockouts, manage replenishment activities, and minimize excess inventory
• Maintain positive relationships with carriers, vendors, and customers to ensure seamless and efficient shipping and receiving operations
• Manage and develop a team of warehouse associates, providing training and guidance to maximize performance while maintaining a positive work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business management, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively manage, coach and mentor teams
• Demonstrated experience with warehouse management software (WMS), inventory management, and order fulfillment systems
• Proven ability to drive operational and process improvements
• Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies preferred
• Able to work flexible hours as needed, including nights and weekends
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and regulations.
