Technical Manager Full Time

RPO Recruitment is actively seeking an experienced Technical Manager to join our client’s team in Cape Town, Philippi. Responsibilities

• Oversee the technical operations, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
• Manage a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Conduct regular maintenance and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to machinery, equipment, or systems.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Liaise with suppliers and procurement teams to source necessary parts and materials.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance, and operational reports.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Technical Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a Technical Manager or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Commitment to safety standards and quality assurance.
