Tax Compliance Officer Full Time

RPO Recruitment is currently working with a leading financial services company in Cape Town who is seeking a Tax Compliance Officer to join their team. As a Tax Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the company’s compliance with tax regulations and managing all tax-related activities. This includes preparing and filing tax returns, assisting with tax audits, and providing guidance on tax planning and optimization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely tax compliance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Knowledge of income tax laws and regulations
• Experience with tax software and e-filing systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Experience in personal tax, company tax, and trust tax is a plus
• Experience in Company Tax
• Experience in Personal Tax
• Experience in Trust and Individual Tax
• Must have 3-5 years Tax experience
• Must have the knowledge of Income Tax Act and Tax Administration Act
• Knowledge of E-filing
• Be able to work well under pressure and manage deadlines as required by SARS

Benefits

• Salary: R480 – 600K per annum
