Structural Technician/Technologist – Consulting Industry Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-established engineering consulting firm in the Eastern Cape is currently looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Structural Technician or Technologist to join their team in Gqeberha as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will assist in the design, detailing, and documentation of structural engineering projects, working under the supervision of senior engineers.

Requirements:

• National Diploma in Civil Engineering or BTech in Structural Engineering
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering design and draughting rafting within a consulting environment
• Candidate or Professional registration with ECSA
• Proficient in structural detailing software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Prokon
• Understanding of SANS codes and South African building regulations
• Good communication and report writing skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time and multiple deadlines
