Description:
RPO Recruitment’s client, a successful and growing consulting engineering firm in Gauteng, is currently seeking a qualified Junior Structural Engineer/Technologist or Technician who can join their team on one of their latest and exciting projects in Clarens, Free State.
The successful incumbent will have the opportunity to work closely with a dynamic team of experienced professionals, gaining first-hand exposure to the intricacies of large-scale consulting engineering projects. This role offers a unique chance to further develop technical expertise while also expanding knowledge of on-site processes and best practices in the field of structural engineering. During the estimated 8-month duration of the project, the Junior Structural Engineer/Technologist or Technician will have the chance to contribute directly to the success of the Clarens project, working on a range of tasks and collaborating with various stakeholders.
Upon completion of the project, the candidate will transition to the design office in Pretoria, where they will continue to leverage their experience gained on-site to contribute to a diverse portfolio of exciting projects. Their on-site knowledge and hands-on experience will be invaluable as they work alongside a team of talented professionals in the design office to bring innovative engineering solutions to life. Premium accommodation will be provided on-site in Clarens, ensuring a comfortable and convenient work environment for the duration of the project.
Requirements:
- BSc/BEng/BTech/National Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Between 3 and 5 years’ experience in the structural engineering field working in a consulting environment in either a design office or on site
- Candidate registration with ECSA
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Prokon, and/or Revit
Benefits:
Salary: R360K – R480K CTC per annum
