Mechanical Draughtsman Full Time

We are looking for a Mechanical Draughtsperson to join a leading manufacturer of precision-engineered products. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings of mechanical components and assemblies using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs for mechanical equipment and controls.
• Provide details on component descriptions.
• Collect initial drawings, calculations and design ideas from engineers, and combine all relevant data into coherent and complete initial design models for review and modification
• Coordinate with and consult other workers to design, layout, or detail components and systems and to resolve design or other problems.
• Test and document aircraft components and assemblies’ testing.

Requirements

• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant Draughting Diploma or Certificate
• AutoCAD and/or Revit MEP Certification
• 3-5 Years’ wet services and fire design experience
• Knowledge of basic design principles and applications of wet services and fire systems
