Structural Draughtsman / Junior Technician – Cape Town – Consulting Engineering Full Time NEW

A well-known engineering practice is looking to appoint a Draughtsman / Junior Technician to join its team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded candidate with at least 2 years’ experience, particularly someone with practical Revit experience and exposure to reinforcing detailing.

The ideal candidate will be a Junior Draughtsman / Technician with solid Revit skills who is looking to develop further within an engineering environment. Candidates with additional experience in reinforcing detailing will be particularly well suited to the role.

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Draughting, Civil/Structural Engineering, or a related technical field will be advantageous.
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience preferred.
• Practical Revit experience – essential.
• Experience with reinforcing detailing will be highly advantageous.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical information.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
