Job Title: Senior Manager – IBMS & SHEQ

Location: Durban

Overview:

RPO Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager: IBMS & SHEQ to join our client’s team. As the Senior Manager: IBMS & SHEQ, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Integrated Building Management Systems (IBMS) and Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) programs for our client. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of these programs across multiple sites.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IBMS and SHEQ programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, standards, and company policies.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain IBMS and SHEQ policies, procedures, and standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
• Plan and deliver training programs to enhance awareness and understanding of IBMS and SHEQ requirements.
• Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare reports and presentations on IBMS and SHEQ performance for management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on IBMS and SHEQ management
• Professional certifications in IBMS and SHEQ (e.g., ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001) preferred
• Proven track record of implementing successful IBMS and SHEQ programs in a corporate setting
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with cross-functional partners
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
