Senior Civil (Roads) Engineer (Pr Eng) – Consulting Industry – R840K – R600K Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client, a successful and growing civil and structural consulting firm in KZN, is currently seeking to employ a hardworking and committed Senior Civil (Roads) Engineer who can join their team in Durban as soon as possible.  

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading the design office within the Roads department
• Effective leadership and management of design, production of engineering drawings, preparation of tender documents
• Management of the delivery of projects from planning to close out
• Monthly reporting and cost control
• Training of technical staff

Requirements:

• BSc/BEng degree in Civil Engineering
• Between 5 and 10 years’ experience in the transport infrastructure field with a key focus on planning, pavement engineering, geometric design, stormwater drainage design, contract administration, and supervision of roads projects
• Experience in road rehabilitation design with a proven track record in managing a design office

Benefits:

• Salary:  R600K/yr – R840K/yr
