Senior Civil Engineer (Urban Infrastructure)- Consulting Industry Full Time

Our client is seeking a Senior Engineer to join their dynamic Urban Infrastructure department in a permanent capacity, in their office in Cape Town.

Requirements:

• Eng or B.Sc in Civil Engineering (a Master’s degree – M.Eng/M.Sc – is preferred).
• Professional registration with ECSA (PrEng) is mandatory.
• A minimum of 10 years post-PrEng experience in relevant fields (urban infrastructure, roads, municipal services).
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Civilsoft Bill.
• Age: Between 35–40 years (preferred, but not limiting).
• Demonstrated leadership in urban infrastructure project delivery.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
• Serve as Contract Engineer / Employer’s Agent on municipal infrastructure projects.
• Manage contract administration and compile tender documentation.
• Prepare detailed and accurate construction cost estimates.
• Lead project management, design coordination, and quality assurance on urban roads and underground municipal services.
