Reliability & Performance Engineer (Blow Moulding) – Plastics Full Time

RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a Reliability & Performance Engineer with a specialization in Blow Moulding for a leading plastics manufacturing company. As a trusted recruitment agency, we work closely with our clients to find the best talent that meets their specific requirements.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of the Blow Moulding equipment within the company’s manufacturing operations. You will utilize your expertise in Blow Moulding processes to develop and implement maintenance strategies, optimize equipment performance, and improve overall production efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance strategies for Blow Moulding equipment to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime
• Analyze equipment performance data and identify opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize Blow Moulding processes and improve production efficiency
• Identify and implement preventive maintenance programs
• Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting to resolve equipment issues
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, specializing in Blow Moulding within the plastics industry
• Strong knowledge of Blow Moulding processes and equipment
• Experience with maintenance strategies and reliability programs
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Understanding of safety regulations and procedures in the plastics industry
• Possibility of relocation to Europe
• MUST HAVE a valid passport & be able to travel extensively throughout the EMEA Region

• Salary: R1 million – R820k per annum
