Quality Technician Full Time

RPO Recruitment is excited to announce an opportunity for a Quality Technician in Port Elizabeth. Our client, a leader in the automotive manufacturing sector, is dedicated to producing high-quality components and is looking for a meticulous Quality Technician to uphold and enhance their quality assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Identify defects or deviations from established specifications and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with industry standards.
• Compile and analyze quality data, preparing detailed reports for management review.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Participate in root cause analysis and apply problem-solving techniques to address quality issues.
• Provide training and support to production staff regarding quality control measures and standards.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements in quality control.

Requirements

• National Diploma in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a quality technician role, preferably within the automotive sector.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
• Proficient in using quality tools such as Six Sigma, FMEA, and statistical process control (SPC).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement.
