QS/Estimator – Construction Industry Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client, a reputable construction company in the Western Cape is currently seeking a driven and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join their team in Cape Town.

The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, preparing quotations and tender submissions, and supporting the team in delivering quality waterproofing, painting, and maintenance solutions across Cape Town and surrounds.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction or maintenance industry
• Proven experience with waterproofing, painting, remedial works, or general building maintenance advantageous
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and pricing principles
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); knowledge of estimating software is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail and strong numerical skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Professional, reliable, and self-motivated

Benefits:

Salary:  R360K – R300K basic salary, excluding company benefits
