Project Manager (Pr CPM) – Construction Industry Contract

RPO Recruitment’s client, a reputable Building & Civil Contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Cape Town team on one of their latest projects as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage and deliver construction projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Develop and monitor project programmes using MS Project.
• Coordinate project teams, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
• Manage project costs, budgets, cash flow and commercial performance.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, quality, Health & Safety and environmental requirements.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Chair project and site meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
• Prepare project reports and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Identify and manage project risks to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

• National Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Building, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional registration with SACPCMP (essential).
• Minimum 10 years’ Project Management experience within the construction industry.
• Proven experience managing building and/or civil construction projects from inception to completion.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project (MS Project).
• Valid driver’s licence (essential).
• Strong leadership, planning, communication and stakeholder management skills.
