Project Engineer Full Time

One of the leading mines in the industry, based in the Northern Cape is looking to expand their team and employ a Project Engineer. The successful candidate will manage and coordinate all the Site Engineering services and project activities to ensure plant and equipment optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Processes and Procedures
• Knowledge of internal project processes; beneficiation processes; maintenance processes; metallurgical processes
• Technical and Engineering equipment knowledge
• Sound technical insight; Maintenance – broad experience of heavy equipment
• Legislation knowledge
• Knowledge of all relevant Acts and legislation; Knowledge of ISO requirements
• Diagnostic (Quality)
• Root cause analysis; Report writing; Problem solving; Trend analysis

Requirements:

•  8 – 10 years operational engineering experience as an appointed Section Engineer
•  3 – 5 years operational project / middle management experience
• Accreditation / Registration – Registered Professional Engineer (ECSA)
• National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
• Degree / B.Tech (NQF Level 7) in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (Recommended)
• Government Certificate of Competency (GCC)
