Pipeline Foreman – Construction Industry Contract

RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-established civil construction company in South Africa is currently seeking an experienced Pipeline Foreman to join their dynamic team in Namibia. The ideal candidate will have hands-on pipeline construction and site supervision experience, with strong leadership skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Due to the project timeline, candidates available for immediate start will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of pipeline construction crews.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with project specifications, drawings, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Plan, schedule, and allocate resources including labour, materials, and equipment.
• Monitor progress and provide daily reports to management.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve on-site issues promptly.
• Maintain strong communication with project managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety requirements.
• Train and mentor team members to maintain efficient and safe work practices.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in pipeline construction or a similar civil works environment.
• Proven experience in supervising teams and managing site operations.
• Strong technical understanding of pipeline installation processes and construction methods.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Immediate availability preferred.

Benefits:

Salary:  N$25,000 – N$35,000 per month, depending on experience
