Outbound Sales Representative Full Time

A dynamic FMCG and distribution-focused company is looking for an experienced Outbound Sales Representative with strong external sales capability and the ability to manage and grow a diverse customer base across multiple retail segments.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain an existing customer base across the Western Cape region
• Conduct regular client visits (Monday–Thursday) and build long-term customer relationships
• Drive sales growth through upselling, cross-selling, and account expansion
• Service a diverse client base ranging from high-end hospitality clients to informal retail (spaza shops)
• Prepare and manage daily/weekly sales administration and reporting (office-based Fridays)
• Identify new business opportunities within assigned territory as portfolio expands
• Ensure consistent communication and service delivery to all allocated customers
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall regional growth objectives
• Represent the company professionally during all client interactions and site visits

Requirements:

• Proven experience in external/outbound sales (FMCG, wholesale, or distribution preferred)
• Strong customer relationship management and account management skills
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle (essential)
• Willingness to travel extensively within the Western Cape
• Strong communication skills in English (Afrikaans and/or Xhosa advantageous)
• Mature, self-managed, and target-driven individual
• Ability to work independently and manage a geographic sales territory
• Experience dealing with both high-end retail and informal market customers advantageous
