Merchandise Allocator Full Time

Description

RPO Recruitment is currently hiring a dedicated and detail-oriented Merchandise Allocator for our client in Durban. As a Merchandise Allocator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the right products are in the right stores at the right time, maximizing sales and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Allocate merchandise to stores based on sales forecasts and store requirements.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with the buying and planning teams to ensure optimal inventory levels.
• Monitor store inventory levels and make adjustments as needed.
• Coordinate with the distribution team to ensure timely delivery of merchandise.
• Conduct regular store visits to gather feedback and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a merchandise allocator in the retail industry.
• Matric
• 3 – 5 years in an allocator role
• Proficient in MS Office Excel
• Proficient in Dolfin
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficiency in merchandise allocation software.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
