RPO Recruitment’s client are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join their manufacturing team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and make necessary repairs in a timely manner
• Conduct preventative maintenance on all machinery to ensure optimal performance
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of manufacturing equipment
• Comply with all safety protocols and regulations in the workplace

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Mechanic in a manufacturing environment
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when necessary
