Manager Mining Operations – Mining Industry – R2.3mil – R2.1mil Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s Client is urgently seeking the expertise of an Manager Mining Operations in the Northern Cape. The successful candidate will lead and oversee the implementation of change programs and corrective measures aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness. The role is responsible for embedding SHERQ structures and frameworks that foster a culture of statutory compliance and continuous improvement. It includes managing the drilling, load and haul, and MRM sections to consistently meet production targets while maintaining high safety and quality standards. Additionally, the role requires proactive internal and external stakeholder relationship management to ensure alignment with business objectives and foster collaborative partnerships.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee implementation of change programs and corrective measures.

• Manage the drilling, load and haul and MRM sections to achieve production requirements.

• Ensure work is conducted in an ethical way.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Required)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering (Required)
• GCC Mine Managers Certificate (Required)
• Blasting Certificate Opencast (Required)
• Five (5) Years Management Experience in a Mining Environment (Required)
• Seven (7) Years Operation in a Hard Rock Opencast Mining Environment (Required)
• Valid Code B Driving License (Required
